Honokowai Beach Park

Honokowai Beach Park is your sandy retreat for swimming and snorkeling for the day. The name Honokowai means “Bay for drawing water” as there used to be freshwater springs at the edge of the water. Rest in the sand and sun or shade as you prefer. There is a long shallow pool that is perfect for children to play in. Bring a picnic and have a grilled meal on the barbecues and eat at the picnic tables. Playgrounds are also here for the children to use, perfect to make a full day of it.

Honolua Bay Marine Reserve

Less than a ten-minute drive from Napili you can visit the Honolua Bay Marine Reserve. Honolua Bay is part of the forty-five-acre Honolua-Mokuleia Marine Conservation District. As a protected environment, these waters provide a coral that is abundant with creatures of every kind. You will find Humpback whales here when in season, green sea turtles, and even spinner dolphins swim these waters.
